venue feature: Copper Rose Ranch X Rowan & Larch

Today I have my first wedding of the season, and apropos of this article, the wedding is at Copper Rose Ranch. Feels right to to do a venue feature, am I right?

Copper Rose Ranch feels like Montana in the best way. Wide open pastures behind rustic fences. A pond catching the light. The Absarokas on one side, the Gallatins on the other. The sky doing whatever dramatic thing it wants to do that day. I mean, the barn itself!

The barn is warm wood with beams and big windows. In the colder months, there’s radiant heat and a fireplace glow. In the summer, the doors open and the chill evening mountain air drifts through.

From a floral perspective, it’s one of those venues that feels like enough of a blank slate to do a million ways. I’ve seen clients imprint this venue with so many different personalities and flairs for their unique wedding! Collaborating to make something new and beautiful is my delight.

I’ve collected three galleries below of different ways the reception space, ceremony site and after-wedding photos can be designed and staged. There’s more flexibility here than the majority of “rustic” venues, and it’s fun to see how differently the space can feel depending on the layout a client chooses, the season, decor elements and the clients’ goals.

If you’re planning a wedding at Copper Rose Ranch and want seasonal, locally grown flowers that feel rooted in the land, this venue makes that easy. The mountains already do most of the work. We just get to complement them with some gorgeous locally grown flowers.

Please note, there are buttons at the bottom to view all 4 of these beautiful locally grown weddings on my portfolio.

Now for your viewing pleasure, here are four ways I’ve designed flowers for Copper Rose Ranch:
