This wedding was a delight to create flowers for. While still wanting a classic white look, they wanted to avoid the stuffy look of traditional flowers. With that in mind, I created ikebana arrangements with entirely local product. We used amaranthus to create movement and dimension and her bouquet was a cascading affair of hops, grasses, cosmos, dahlias and lisianthus. Set against a backdrop of natural beauty and understated elegance, this wedding celebration felt both intimate and timeless. The day unfolded in a rustic yet refined setting, where warm wood textures, soft greenery, and thoughtful details created an atmosphere that was effortlessly romantic (in my opinion of course!).
Inside the reception space, Kianna from Golden Hour had designed the space using Copper Rose Ranch’s long tables. Crisp white linens ran the length of the tables, paired with simple place settings and clear glassware that reflected the soft glow of candlelight overhead. The delicate white florals I chose, arranged loosely in small vessels, added an organic, just-picked feel. Above it all, we installed lush greenery on the twinkling lights of the chandelier which drew the eye upward, transforming the room into a cozy, inviting space designed for lingering conversations and shared stories.
The couple themselves embodied classic sophistication. The bride wore a sleek, off-the-shoulder gown that felt both modern and timeless, complemented by long fingerless gloves and a flowing veil that moved gracefully with the breeze. The groom’s tailored black tuxedo added a sense of traditional elegance, creating a striking contrast. Their expressions—relaxed, joyful, and fully present—captured the quiet excitement of the day and the depth of their connection. Everything felt modern, classic, timeless, but not stuffy or withdrawn.
Outdoors, the ceremony space was framed by Copper Rose’s sturdy wooden arch, perfectly positioned to showcase the surrounding landscape. Rolling fields, calm water, and distant mountains provided a breathtaking natural backdrop, allowing the setting itself to become part of the ceremony. I made ground arrangements for the base of the arch echoing the reception décor, tying the entire celebration together with bright green texture and white, bright florals.
Together, these images tell the story of a wedding rooted in authenticity, beauty, and intention—a celebration where love took center stage, enhanced by nature, thoughtful design, and timeless style along with locally grown flowers from the farmers who make all the magic come to life.
