This delightful design brought together all of my favorite things—local flowers, pops of warm colors with a tiny splash of yellow, and scalloped plateware. It all came together in such a warm, bright way. And as far as I understand…the client was in fact surprised! This celebration was the perfect blend of cozy, thoughtful, and quietly joyful, set inside a warm wooden space that instantly made everything feel intimate and inviting. Surrounded by natural light and forest views, the design leaned into softness and texture while still feeling elevated and intentional. The florals brought a relaxed, garden-inspired feel to the space, with a mix of blush, peach, cream, and soft white blooms. Arrangements felt loose and organic, as though they were gathered straight from the field, adding movement and life to each table. Paired with simple votives and tall glass candle holders, the flowers created a warm glow that carried beautifully from daytime into evening. The candlelight softened the room and made every detail feel a little more special. The tablescape struck a perfect balance between rustic and refined. Wooden tables were layered with green linen runners, classic white plates, and gold flatware, bringing in warmth without feeling heavy. Green glassware added just the right amount of color, while handwritten place cards and small details made the setting feel personal and welcoming. Everything felt curated, but never overdone. One standout moment in the space was the playful nod to celebration with the balloon installation and glowing “70,” adding a fun, modern contrast to the natural textures of the room. It brought personality and energy without taking away from the overall softness of the design. Lone Mountain Ranch (near Big Sky!) was the perfect backdrop.
Altogether, the atmosphere felt relaxed, joyful, and deeply personal. It was the kind of event where guests could settle in, linger at the table, and truly enjoy the moment. Thoughtful details, warm light, and natural florals came together to create a celebration that felt effortless, meaningful, and full of heart.
