Rowan & Larch’s video portfolio from past weddings

Having a video portfolio on my website isn’t just about showcasing pretty blooms — it’s about capturing moments, emotion, and connection in a way that static photos alone can’t always convey. A video allows me to share more than just imagery; it lets you FEEL the movement of a ceremony, FEEL the laughter of a couple, and get a sense of the atmosphere and energy that surrounded the florals on someone’s special day. Even though not all of the flowers featured in my video portfolio are locally grown, each clip tells a story of creativity, collaboration, and care. These videos bring together work from a variety of vendors and settings, showing how floral design interacts with light, space, and people in real moments. It’s one thing to show a bouquet — it’s another to let someone experience it. Video helps bridge that gap beautifully. I also love having all of these moments in one place — it’s like a visual journal of experiences that have shaped my creative journey. For me, a portfolio isn’t about perfection or strict consistency; it’s about sharing passion and perspective. Videos let me highlight parts of my process that images can’t: the way stems are arranged, how colors shift in motion, how the design lives through a whole event. Ultimately, this video portfolio is a space where potential clients can connect with who I am and why I do what I do, not just what I do. It’s a way to invite people in — to feel welcome, to be inspired, and to imagine how their own day might feel when flowers become part of their story.
