Rowan & Larch began as a small, quiet idea — one that took shape while I was sitting on a swing in a park along the shores of Lake Superior during a four-month van trip. At the time, I imagined a little shop: a place for handmade goods, hand-tied bouquets, workshops, and creative collaboration with close friends. That seed grew, shifted, and eventually became what Rowan & Larch is today — a wedding and event floral studio rooted in creativity, intention, and connection.

Over time, weddings became the heart of my work. I’m drawn to the emotion and meaning of these days — the way flowers can help anchor a moment in memory, place, and feeling. Punctuation as I like to call it. My approach to wedding florals is deeply collaborative and story-driven. I design organic, romantic, and garden inspired arrangements, inspired by gardens, natural movement, and thoughtful composition. Signature elements often include buttery focal blooms, airy sculptural lines, and layered natural textures.

Rowan & Larch is based in Belgrade, Montana, and shaped by the Gallatin Valley community. The wedding industry here is full of generous, supportive vendors who lift one another up, and I feel incredibly grateful to work alongside them. Collaboration, referrals, and shared growth are core to how I do business.

Sustainability has been part of Rowan & Larch from the beginning as an ongoing practice of care. I avoid floral foam, minimize single-use plastics, compost organic materials whenever possible, and prioritize local and U.S.-grown flowers. When the season allows, I love creating wedding designs built entirely from local blooms, celebrating what’s growing here and now. In 2025 I made the full commitment to use only locally grown blooms—the flowers truly feel like they belong here and inspire me every week.

At the center of everything are my couples. You are real people with stories, emotions, and personalities, and it’s my job — and delight — to create florals that reflect that. Some couples come with a clear vision; others simply know how they want their day to feel. Either way, I guide the process with care, helping translate ideas into something cohesive and beautiful. When trust is established, I do my best work — free to create with intention, curiosity, and play. I work thoughtfully within each couple’s priorities to create something that feels special, considered, and true to them.
